
Rushdi Siddiqui
Rushdi Siddiqui is a senior Islamic finance executive and strategist with a career spanning global benchmark development, institutional advisory, and financial innovation. He previously served as Global Director of the Dow Jones Islamic Market Index, where he led the creation of the Islamic equity benchmark, and as Global Head of Islamic Finance & OIC Countries at Thomson Reuters.
He was a founding member of Dubai Bank and has served in advisory roles with the Islamic finance Advisory Council at DIFC and with Malaysia’s Securities Commission. He has also founded and co-founded multiple ventures across halal e-commerce, sustainability, Waqf development, and emerging technology applications including AI.
Recognized with over twenty-five industry awards, Siddiqui has authored more than sixty articles on the Islamic economy and continues to advise at the intersection of Shariah-compliant finance and institutional capital formation.
